Philly Births Another Superstar Artist

Philadelphia is home to the cheesesteak, soft pretzels, and a lot of well-known artists and entertainers; one rising star is a newcomer who has broken through the scene wholly independently, C-Note.

His website just launched a few weeks ago and already the artist who is known as "C-Note," has exploded on social media and in the press, and has done it despite being legally blind. "I started painting at forty, last year I took a year off and decided twenty-twenty-three was going to be my big break out," and breakout he did. He's been interviewed, he's been written about in the press and he has sold over two hundred pieces of art around the world. So what's next for C-Note?

Visually Impaired Artist Is Making Big Waves

Frederick Cook, a visually impaired artist based out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is making waves throughout the art world. Having sold over two-hundred pieces of art in just under four years, Mr. Cook (who creates his art under the name C-Note) is slowly becoming a phenomenon in the world of art.

C-Note is legally blind, having lost much of his vision when he was five to an accident, now at almost 44 years old, this artist has begun to find his way in the art world, fusing traditional sketches and paintings with digital art and even NFTs. He said;

"I became a professional artist at 40, selling original pieces via Facebook and Twitter, now I sell prints from my website and via Fine Art America. I did it all despite my vision and despite being entirely independent in the art world, so I'm proud of that."
